Alderman White is a member of the White Hills Park Federation. The principle behind the Federation is that each of the three schools keeps its separate identity and also all the advantages of a small school. However by working together we also provide all the benefits of a large school, particularly in terms of the increased opportunities which are available to the students.

Alderman White was one of the first schools in Nottinghamshire to achieve specialist language college status in September 2002. Ofsted?s endorsement that the whole school including the wider community had benefited from the Language College initiative helped us to secure re-designation as a specialist school in Spring 2007. Alderman White has enjoyed over 4 years as a specialist Language College. It is one of the few schools in the county which has achieved specialist status in this area and receives funding directly from the government to promote languages and the international dimension both within the school and in the local community. The main languages taught during the normal school day at Alderman White are French, German and Spanish. In addition we are currently offering courses in Arabic, Italian, Japanese, Mandarin and Urdu.
